Pain Within

I feel as though a hole 

has been punched through my chest,

Like my whole world 

has been stolen away from me.

I feel mentally, emotionally, 

and even physically empty inside,

Like I’m a hollow shell with 

no meaning for its existence.

I feel completely lost in the world 

full of mystery, pain, and uncertainty,

Like a homeless, mentally unstable, 

neglected soul roaming the streets.

I feel like there will never be 

happiness, security, hope, certainty in my life,

Like there is no hope left for a satisfying reality.
