Overlooked

To be overlooked is when you see your crush,

You smile your brightest smile and your eyes sparkle,

But he just walks past.

To be overlooked is when you state your opinion,

You state it with such authority and passion,

But no one even pays enough attention to rebuttal.

To be overlooked is when your crying for help.

Your screaming as loud as you can,

Your giving all of the signs,

But no one stops to help.

You then decide that you don't want to be here no longer.

You finally decide that no one deserves you here.

You finally make the worst mistake of your life.

But this mistake you can't fix there is no going back.

But only afterward people stopped overlooking you.

They finally stopped by to drop of flowers.

They finally stop to shed their tears.

This is to be overlooked.
