Outsider

Surrounded by friends, 

Familiar voices and smiling faces, 

I feel like an outsider. 

A sea of people buzzing about James Charles,

Makeup tutorials of things I’ll never understand, 

Saying “Gucci” and “Tea” and making themselves feel pretty,

Scoffing at the one blank-eyed girl,

Scoffing at the fact that I've never known and will never know,

Scoffing at the fact that I am not like them, 

Being myself and slowly destroying my will 

Until there’s hardly anything left

Except for crumbling distaste towards myself.
