Our Childhood Tree, A Memory

Our Childhood Tree, A Memory

Oh my dear boy,

How I wish you can play on me.

Just like how you used to when you

Were a lad.

I miss those days so bad.

Yearning to look at you one more

I want to look at the same you

But not as a boy

But as a successful man.

I know days are changing by

And time is passing too...

But I just wanted you to know.

I am there for you.

Even on the days when

I lose my leaves

Or the little twigs

That fall off...

I console myself saying;

No matter what.

My boy, will remember me

And love me just for being me.

And now I want to ask you

Do you remember me?
