One-sided Love

 With faith in myself I went to him to confess 

That day when I saw him in that blue dress.

Trying to get on my knees 

With a rose blooming in that strong breeze.

Never wanted to make him feel awkward 

So again got up hiding the rose backward.

Waiting for the right moment I survived 

From years now and then realized that the farewell arrived.

Cannot miss that last opportunity 

So again thought of going on the knee.

But that confidence ran away 

Still with tons of talks with God I came after a pray.

And asked him about a picture together 

The moment he agreed I swear

I got on the cloud nine and dreaming our pair. 

Yes I saw him with "his" girl that day

Holding her tightly in his hands and calling her bae.

With tears in my eyes and smile on my face 

Still I stared him with all the disgrace

Till the end of day and the farewell party.

Because I knew that was the only day

To see and stare 

The love of my life 

The first crush of my life.

Got a bit tensed as well 

But had to face the situation.

Thanked God for that moment 

Where I got the first and the last picture 

Of ours!
