Once We Chanced
Once We Chanced
The nights that bring you pleasure,
If never stop showing dark.
Bonfires and moonlight measure,
Reflecting the hours' mark.
Ocean waves and foamy tides,
If would not cease to play.
Covered trees and covered sides,
The drowned world would breathe under & still stay.
The breezes short & sweet,
If blew with happiness.
Cropped a smile & made you tweet,
With a sense of happiness.
Diamonds did not charm,
If forever they remained opaque.
Stones shone crystallized & made you disarm,
Caves stained with history on the ivory plaque.
Should we be tipped off about rejoice,
Once, only if we overstep the secret of choice.
Imagine it to all be true,
As such as until you believe, that it is a lie.
