Once A Fall Evening
Once A Fall Evening

It was the last hour of the autumn eventide,
Carving those lines, even my pen cried.
Not sadness, it was the excitement
Describe it as madness or my enlightenment
Among the crowd I was searching my friend
And mistakenly I found a gorgeous but shy trend
Call her a trend, she herself is a trendsetter
All of my friends, say I should go and get her.
Her dress was white, like Lord's masterpiece has appeared,
Almost like Aphrodite, the Goddess of Greece has appeared
The sky full of stars was stargazing at earth,
Queen was so so stunningly amazing, the moon surely had a dearth
With her hairs all down, alone she was roaming all around
And I had ideation of gifting her a crown.
So, I was about to make a sound.
But, someone else did, her colleague
And for that day, she went out of my league.
It happened what I had feared,
I got a glimpse and she disappeared.
