I am an old clock..
I am an old clock..
I am an old clock
Do not pity me
I am not a dead stock
I belong to an age
When your parents
Were not on stage
I used to wake people up
Instilled good habits in them
And they never gave up
They used to love me a lot
Dust me and clean me
I adorned a stool near the cot
I started gathering dust
Electronic era was here
My stool too was catching rust
I passed few years in isolation
I would be right twice a day
Was the only consolation
Then the needles left me dear
I am now a number dial
If your kids need me, I am here
There is a good development
A museum curator
Appreciated my achievement
I will be placed on a high pedestal
You may call on me
With prior timed approval
I am happy for God's great gift
You can have a selfie with me
With date and time stamp on it
