Oh! My Dear Fear
Oh! My Dear Fear
We met at the last bench,
You caressed my cheeks,
You nursed my quivers,
And sadly I committed.
In those loud mockeries,
I heard your soft whispers,
We cuddled unreasonably,
They charged and sneered.
Our time together, alike,
The immortal love making,
Of strolling winter air,
And fallen autumn leaves.
Since those nine years,
Till this cornered now,
You, me and shadows,
Have had their time.
Me in this wintry December,
With taste of vanilla cake,
With coca drool on chin,
In scarlet ribboned frock,
I am here to set us free.
Hey! My dear,fear,
For long you embraced,
The distress in a damsel,
Be now proudly freed,
By the warfare readiness,
Of a newly crowned Queen.
