Not ready

I watch the sun rise and set each day

Hoping and praying to see you again

My life is beautiful but so lonely

Since that day you left for home 

I say a prayer for strength each day

Sing our favourite hymn and smile as I sing

Hoping you'd join in at any moment

Only to find your voice is absent in the song

I must let go of you for you're no longer here

You're at peace where no problems will get to you

Your dreams incomplete makes me wonder if it now rests with you

If so my brother I find I just can not let you go as yet

So many things you said you'd do

Many you did complete now are their gain of your sweat

I just wish I could help and get the payment of your sweat to your loved ones

Am not ready to give up the fight for your sweat as yet

For you my brother I will run another mile in search of what is yours
