No Man's Land
Standing by the banyan tree,
By the riverside,
He thinks of the one he can no longer see,
Since his visitation was denied.
It wasn't always like this!
He could recall moments to cherish,
When they spent moments intimate,
And promised to be forever mates!
But things had changed!
Now he was stranded,
In a no man's land,
By the banyan tree,
And the river.
He wishes he could make a decision,
And arrive at some conclusion,
But that was not to be,
He was kept hanging by the queen bee!
What a nightmare!
Was he already demonizing her?
Blaming the one he used to love forever?
Over and above everyone else!
Oh lord! He instantly regrets!
What regrets!
He felt helpless and hurt.
The only key to his heart,
Had been stolen by the one,
Who conveniently got another one!
Another one?
Yes, the one,
Who won,
Her over!
For her,
It seemed the new one was closer!
His dream was over,
His love was gone.
He realized he was losing composure,
Yet, had no idea what wrong he had done!
And now he was stranded,
In a no man's land,
By the banyan tree,
And the river.
