When Love Sinks....

When Love Sinks....

Deeply hurt

Is the heart,

Negligent attitudes cold and frozen,

Words left unspoken,

Bitterness ensconced

With the surly and irascible response,

Whenever love tried getting close,

The once much in love hearts squabbled like foes,

The eyes eagerly await a backward glance,

But you do not fall prey to commitment nor grant any chance,

For love to make a comeback

And pull you in my arms back,

All the more reason I no more love you,

Nor do I crave for you,

Familiarity stinks,

Love sinks

Below, submerged,

Stupefied, befogged and besieged,

Stagnant feelings and moribund sentiments,

Choked by the hydrilla, dying love;

Ah! now dead those ever-lasting moments!
