Forgotten

Hey Alzheimers!

Why do you scare?

Strange figures hover

All around my chamber,

My thoughts clamber,

Yet I fail to remember,

My eyes look for known faces

In the nooks and corners of all places.

 

Oh! Why do not I remember much, nor many?

The words I try to speak are hardly any,

I sit in my own world of scary imaginations,

Scramble upto me dark hallucinations,

Whom to trust and who not to,

Innumerable faces, I know not who,

I think hard, my thoughts winding around my throat like thread in a bobbin,

Have I the world forgot or have I been by the world forgotten?
