Night Beauty
Night Beauty
When the city wears a colorful necklace of lights,
Paths lit up with radium and headlights,
An array of stars gazed at me with twinkling eyes,
Workaholic organs seek ominous peace and rest.
Temple bells, diyas fills divinity,
The kitchen smells aromatic with supper,
Giggles and blithe of young ones as Dad returns,
The dark night begins its story of warmth and calmness.
Life comfy’s to cozy corners,
Bedtime stories and cuddles rule the hour,
Intimacy and amour paints love,
Gloomy times canvases eternal beauty.
