New Girl in the city...

She dreamt of a dream,

 A dream that would set her free,

Her prayers were answered ,

 The Lord had heard her plea!

A new city she ventured to,

With her beloved man,

Embracing the uncertainty,

Going with what god planned!

 People and places were all new,

Friends became family with time,

The new place now became her home,

She enjoyed the era prime!

Shouldering responsibilities she never shirked,

Was that her only crime,

 She persevered at her work,

Acheiving success in due time!

She was a human like any other,

Getting tired handling chores,

Proactiveness was what lacked from her consort,

She was hurt by the ignores!

She embraced everything whole heartedly,

She pondered on what more life had in store,

Then counting her blessings ,

Went back to happiness gallore!

Wading through uncertainty,

Making connections all the way,

The new girl in the city,

Still Stands tall in the face of all dismay!!!
