New Beginnings

New Beginnings

Isolated in the new beginnings

Nothing seemed to be blooming.

Everything was dull and everyone,

Seemed to be screaming.

Wandering in this new world,

Questioning whether this risk is to strive.

Would the flower bloom or would it just droop,

Whether the risk was worth taking or should I just take a veer.

But then, after all the darkness,

A bright day comes, the sun shines

And the sunflower finally opens and turns towards the light

All the struggle of the caterpillar to come out of the cocoon

Is finally accomplished.

And the bright butterfly flies up high

Soaring the sky.
