My Sister
My Sister

I have a sister, younger than me,
We share a loving bond, oh so remarkably
As kids, we often shared clothes, combs and mother’s care,
Fought, Quarrelled and Pulled each other’s hair
As years went by, we parted ways,
Across the seven seas, my sister left
Without my sister in my life,
I wept, I cried I held out a sigh
Alas, my sister had another Life,
She had a man in her Life who called her his wife,
She had two adorable kids,
Tending
to their needs was her priority
As I trudge on in Life,
Like a warrior who gallops over a horse majestically,
There are times when invisible forces,
Seem to hurt me callously
I urge the divine forces to shower their grace on my kith and kin,
Let us continue to live our Life independently
As I battle on in Life,
Surmounting challenges and hurdles that seem to keep piling by,
I know that my sister will continue to be,
The guardian angel that shelters me
