Are you the same old city I wonder
The green grass that caressed my tiny feet, now feels hard
Those open grounds we carelessly roamed in
Have disappeared in the towering inns
Are you the same old city I wonder
In the meadows, I remember myself roll
But today my old age has taken a toll
The breeze then fluttered my hair
I think that was a different air
Are you the same old city I wonder
Now when I see you through my cane
Nothing appears sane
For gone are those days
And the then me
My city has got a new identity
