Awaiting A Storm

Like the untimely rain,

Like the uncalled guest,

Like the unknown meteor,

You came in my life

And my universe changed.

My life soared like never before,

The soul deprived of love forever.

Had found its own refuge,

The calm heart for once,

Loved the turbulence inside.

But tumultuous as was your arrival,

So was your retreat;

My world turned upside down,

Like the wreckage,

After a storm.

Now I try to find my being,

Collecting the pieces of the aftermath,

My heart is still again,

My life, a lone island-

Awaiting a storm yet again!
