My Mother

She was strong, she was a beauty,

Never irritated always prompt in her duty.

She was a nurse, she was a teacher,

She was a lady with all sharp feature.

Like magic in her hands she cooked,

In a wink mouth watering and delicious food.

Her dressing sense was so perfect,

It gave out a beautiful effect.

Cleanliness, perfection and punctuality,

These were her three speciality.

Without love and affection you cannot proceed,

She taught us that this is today's need.

Keep your writing neat and clean,

This will help you when you reach teen.

Always keep your goals high in life,

This will never lead you to strife.

These were some of my mother's teachings,

Which I followed truly speaking.

You are always there with me,

To love me, guide me and take care of me.
