My Heavenly Love

She is the doyen of my life, a lily

I wait for the sun to rise, to awake

To hear her laughter and to see her

Her naughty eyes full of love for me

She brings reason for me to live the day

So that I meet her before sleeping again

I am in a stupor with her razor-sharp gaze

Nothing escapes her eyes and she catches all

Her unbelievable memory and instant recall

Many a time, I am wonderstruck with her

Taking me back by many years in memory lane

There she plants her presence and become a part

At times scary too as it certainly sounds so real

And those touching moments when she is so caring

Excessively protective and possessive in owning me

I then clearly see the rebirth of a lost vision of past

The mystery unfolds when she recalls her presence

In the long lost past of travels and overseas events

Each day she is giving me an opportunity to undo the undone

In her and with her I am

She makes me feel a complete man again to relive life

She has become my master of destiny to reach my end

Yesterday I shivered and shuddered when she saw me

In whites holding her hand guiding her to the long vast expanse

Of deep blue ocean, full of roaring grey waves looking furious

Today I understood my relations with her is of deepest love

She was my darling and the purpose to breathe and live for her

She is my eternity and through her care and embraces

Attain my end, my salvation, my reunion with my creator

She was implanted and created for me to finish the half-done

Fulfill many unkempt promises and desires to spoil her fully

All around me find me a changed man full of contradictions

It is all because of her and her being controlling me myself

Today I myself have understood who she is and what she is

She is my reborn child, my grandchild, the fairy little angel.
