MY BETTER HALF

There I spotted, A man in dark

Little did I know, He was my better half.

Those thick eyebrows, were hiding his stress

Those red lips, almost ready to confess.

Those dark brown eyes, Made me slay

That Smile of his, And I was taken away.

Tall in height, With strong muscles

Ready to protect me, From all the troubles.

He held my hand, In his hand so warm

No one around, Only the noise of Swarm.

He pulled me closer, And whispered in my ear

He slowly uttered, "Please be mine, Dear".

Overwhelmed by his words, I was frozen

I kept mum, Holding the implosion.

With tears of joy, I simply nodded

Cheerfully, He planted a kiss on my forehead.

We continued a beautiful relationship thereafter

And the day has arrived, to be each other's forever.

I thank that dark night, When he became forever mine

For this beautiful relationship, Pure and Divine.
