Mother's Heart
Mother's Heart
He left her home
But never her heart!
She could have told him to stop
But how would he ever reach on the top?
He aspired to soar high
She perspired to see him fly.
She would miss him
Day and night.
But knew disturbing him wasn't right.
For her, he would eternally be a child
But now he should independently
Sail into every storm that is wild.
Every time he gets hurt
Her soul aches,
She wants him to learn to operate his brakes.
She compelled herself to leave his hand,
Because she realized she cannot hold it till the end.
He must now be his own friend.
Her love was to set him free
So as to let him,
Climb the success tree.
He left her home
But never her heart!
