Mother - God’s Avatar

Described as the strongest force on this Earth,

Her unconditional love is what we received since our birth.

When in trouble, she came as a savior in disguise.

She’s been our advisor and has in turn made us wise.

 

The first friend of our childhood,

She molded our character to be good.

The independent individuals that we are today,

Are the result of her sacrifices every day.

 

The struggles that she had to deal with,

So that we enjoyed a sound sleep,

The silent pain that she always felt,

When we failed to perform and wept.

 

We were upset when she shouted at us for our mess,

Only to realize later that it was for our own progress.

During the time of exams and interviews, when we were under stress,

She sympathized and silently prayed for our success.

 

She still understands the confusion that we cant express.

She is the goddess to whom we take our guilts to confess.

She is the creator of life; with qualities like no other,

The world knows and respects her as a Mother.
