Monsoon Heart

It seems like the rainy days are here to stay,

I honestly like it better this way.

Feeling the rain's cold kiss on my skin, warm blankets, cold nights begin.

Hearing the downpour pelting on the windows, I can't forget how that song goes 'raindrops keep falling on my head and gravity has kept me from getting out of bed.

The rain feels good when it's convenient.

The comfort it brings will make you feel content, the pitter-patter of the rain drops in puddles. Precipitation washing away your troubles, I've been hiding under umbrellas before. But now I say, 'let it rain, let it pour' this feeling can never do me wrong. 

It was the rain that I needed all along.
