Mom, I love you the way you kiss me,

I love you the way you hug me,

Mom, I never realised the way you love me,

You never bothered about the world,

I know you were in your own world,

Went on with my dreams and wants,

You carry your feet, the whole long day,

A tender smile to guide my way,

I know I’m the star of your eyes,

You never let me down in any case,

Mom, you are my teacher and nurse,

Taught each value of life and cared 

so much,

My counsellor and chauffeur too,

Mom, my best cook and friend too,
