Misunderstandings caused by my words 

Wait and see this time the real story unfurls

I'm not wrong this time, you're not either

The lines between two sides of a story are blurred

I am you but from a different POV

The story changes depending from where you see

The same story every person different tells

To some its music, to some it's hellish yells

Twisting the meaning of my words like an easy burning flame

The times I've said "I didn't mean that!" is driving me insane

Mute me, that way I wouldn't say it aloud

Can't stop my thoughts from escaping this shroud

You think the world's innocent, and I'm the only stain

Worn out my vocal cords trying to explain

Am I not allowed to say something, If it doesn't line up with you

Everything I dream up, might not end up true

I'm not a mannequin with a fake plastered smile

Still the broken soul I was, will be, even if it makes me vile

I'm not a puppet doll with only happy thoughts inside

I am a real person dear, the world's not black and white

Our train of thoughts takes us somewhere else

The same story every person different tells
