Farewell

Today we are exchanging our byes :

But not breaking any of our ties.

We were friends and we'll always be! 

You guys mean so much to me -

Togetherness is all we sought, 

And friendship split is all we got.

Life is like a moving train-

It runs through the sun and through the rain.

At stations, people come aboard,

And some get off with their hoard.

Every time we meet, each time we part: 

It'll be something's and something's start.

We will not be lachrymose -

As we walk the path we chose.

Remember your yesterday,

Dream tomorrows, live today:

The train of life is going on,

Tomorrow some people will be gone... 

So say, "see you soon, we'll meet again"

And not "good-bye I don't know when..."
