Mission Moon

A journey through space

To meet the moon,

A hope that we will

Conquer it soon.

 

At ISRO the scientists

Are struggling for years,

Chandrayaan was made

With hopes and some fears.

 

The day has come

The mission has begun,

It reached the orbit

Work was almost done.

 

Whole country was awake

In middle of the night,

And praying whole day

That everything goes right.

 

Lander got separated

The goal was in sight

Vikram is its name

It has all the might.

 

Almost reached the moon

Just minutes were left,

Something happened

And we lost contact.

 

We all were stunned

Shivering with fears,

The scientists were sad

Eyes full of tears.

 

We learned a lesson

From the failures we faced,

The mission is not over

The lander is traced.

 

Still no contact

But we must not stop,

We should be positive

There’s always hope.
