Metamorphosis
Metamorphosis
When insecurities develop self-respect
With courage and dauntlessness are your fears met
Never again will you have to regret
For you’d have given up, the feeling of fret
A sudden rush from that adrenaline
Enabled you to channelize from within
A stream of power with an evil grin
That guaranteed you your flawless win
It was the suppression of oppression
that evinced your frustration
even you couldn’t fathom your retaliation
For it had come out of deep consternation
With a song was met, your feeling of glad
They say I Did Something Bad
Undoubtedly the most fun you ever had
For you’d shut the bully and dealt with the crap
Their recovering laughs didn’t waver
Your victorious eyes and authentic flavor
You could see their sight, grow farther and fader
For they had experienced, a massive failure
You could transform your scars
into superlative and sparkling stars
Your rage couldn’t be trapped in any doors or bars
for the spirits emerged from those injured palms
Never could you unleash, that untamed fury
Before in your life, for your vision was blurry
But that brought in you, some mystic glory
To all your fears, did it incinerate and bury
That moment, felt so surreal yet so subtle
So much so, that would make a diamond brittle
You couldn’t care, about the effect of the mettle
To only your assuring warmth, did you want to cuddle
But it’s a matter of fact
That ‘tis the most rudiment act
So make with yourself a loyal pact
To always fight back and never retract
You’d seldom want to give up or recede
But that’d only increase, the tears you’d bleed
So muster up some courage and not let the demolition increase
With confidence and obstinacy, secede
Can the rascals be fixed?
Or will they ever be this jinxed
Their emotions may be cluttered and mixed
Guess one will have to find out by getting them transfixed
You wonder whether their fate deserves a second chance
Looking at your condition… you can only glance
Your conscience doesn’t let you come up with a stance
Will that to your experience, only enhance
