Meeting With God

Meeting With God

I had a meeting with God,

I told him I can't handle my troubles' load,

I am used to struggling every passing day now,

But I am unable to tackle the soon-to-be decadal turning vows,

I have grown in pain since then,

Want to know, this will end when?

Nobody listens to my cries, and tears skid,

Might be, because they are hidden behind my eyelids,

Alone in the crowd, I have walked miles,

The only companion was my fake smile,

People say my smile is beautiful,

Who knows its carving was more than painful,

People judge me for who I am not,

Want them to know the reality in just one shot...

Everything that I come across is unexpected,

Wondering how well people acted.

For being taken for granted, I deny,

I remain unaffected, is a complete lie...

I want someone to understand me,

And be the brighter sun that I see...

Not much, just want to know the reason behind it,

Hoping for the strength to fight the battles in my mind,

Then all of a sudden, I heard a sound,

It was the alarm clock,

God's answer remained unsaid,

The dream comes true before the journey ends!!!
