Masked
Masked
When the earth was wearing mask,
We never bothered to ask!
On the contrary, we did pretend,
To not notice ourselves ushering our end.
Day in and day out,
We spit venom out,
Right on her face,
Till she revolted
And cried,
"I need space!"
"Enough of your abuse,
Enough of your arrogance,
You never cared about my bruise,
Fine, now fight for your existence!"
And with this, she transferred her mask,
Onto each one of us,
And now we cry and seek forgiveness,
As we undertake the terrible penance!
