Mahogany

Mahogany

As kids scamper, their eyes glisten...

Pebbles of dreams thrown in those oceans...

Some days when I look in the mirror, Parched eyes sitting still...

Perhaps my face had those brimming oceans...

Perhaps, those oceans danced in ripples...

Now they are veiled in Mahogany,

Waiting to empty that red rage...
