Magic
Magic
So many stories I’ve told you
Even though tightly I tried to clutch it, time just flew
And now you are all grown-up
You think that all my stories were make believe and made-up
In this harsh rational world you’ve stopped believing in hope and magic
For you this beautiful reality has rather turned tragic
I want to ask, child what happened to you?
But you would just say to me “Mom. I grew!”
I know that only practicality matters from where you stand
But don’t forget the strength given to a lonely little boy by the enchanted Wonderland
So I have picked up this mighty pen making it my magic wand
And may be by these words once again we can bond
You can also re-unite with that little boy who found magic in everything
Who could soar high up in the sky without need for any wings!
And then you could sleep like a baby into your blanket curled
Where I’ll make you believe once again of the magic in this world…
