Made For Each Other

After a long & tiring day in the fields

They both made their way home on bare feet

Both walked slowly in complete silence

As it was too late & cold in the night

And an inappropriate time to converse

He walked ahead as if leading the way

She followed him obediently with her head bent

Every now and then he looked at her with concern

Patting and stroking her back reassuringly

Motivating her to take some more steps forward

After what seemed to be an endless journey

They reached the familiar sight of their abode

He quickly stepped forward and opened the gate

She entered the premises with a sigh of relief

She looked at him with gratitude & tears in her eyes

Wanting to thank him but did not know how

Because He was a "Man" and She was a "Cow"!
