Walking under the scorched sun,

On an endless parched landscape,

Holding on to you in my heart as a soothing song;

Sometimes, the chaos of mundane engulfs the harmony of you in me;

I just pull your thoughts to stretch as a shadow to take rest;

You splash into my eyes to wake me up from my slumber;

I notice my bruises only when you are wildly silent;

I wish your silence speaks to me softly

To ease the battered feet to keep up with the pace…

Without you, I am lost in fear and darkness;

So, I fetch you far and wide to move towards light and joy;

Though you are complete in the abundance of abstract beauty;

I am not evolved enough to dwell in your abstract form…

I need a tangible totem for my muse;

Hence, time to time I cling to a human,

To keep going on the rough roads

That I am fatally destined to travel!
