Love?

The love I heard was selfless,

It was pure and yet magnificent,

But all I see today is this love that is lustful!

A love not pure but purely selfish,

The bond that I heard and had;

The beauty that my eyes had seen,

There exist no more of that love,

But I know for sure that maybe somewhere somehow

Someone still holds this old love,

The love that understands the balance of holding the ones

That gave their all to sustain us.

And I'll wait,

I'll wait but not sit still!

But to preach the love that I know of,

Because I really want to know that what changed this selfless love;

That made its beauty go,

That made the world to think about its existence,

But once I find it, I will for sure uproot it and amplify my voice to make all know;

The real love
