Love

When I saw for the first time , 

I knew you were forever, mine,

Not just for now but for a lifetime, 

For you were my first born, 

Because of you,

A mother was born,

 I was reborn, 

You made me complete, 

But I could not believe, 

That I could create, 

Such a precious bundle of joy, 

It took me hours, rather days to accept, 

Slowly but steadily the journey continued, 

But you never ceased to amaze me, 

Sometimes with your love,at times naughtiness, 

innocence or inquisitiveness, 

Even now, you surprise me,

with your sudden show of love and sometimes funny comments, 

For you hold an important place in my heart ,my son.
