Loneliness
Loneliness
I was a birdie
With wings of sparkle
Fluttering in the enclosures
Of cultures.
I was celebrating
My world for what I begot
I laughed like there is no
Tomorrow.
One day I left off the enclosure
Humming a song of wonderment
And peered into an enchanting eye
And slipped on the snare of desire
It appeared
In the name of love
Snipped my wings of sparkle
Threw me in the underworld of fire.
Burning in the flame
I realized not to bequeath
My haven anymore
But it was too late.
Living lonely was not a fallacy
It's the innocuous way to bypass
Wickedness.
Seasons waived
I had to fight against myself
To uprise the pitiful story
Ink bled from my heart
To a paper
Time for the world to acknowledge
The endowment of loneliness
Words mended a heart
That was shredded like mine
Who would have conceived life could improve by
Simplistic message.
