Living Inside The Shell
Living Inside The Shell
She was a wanderlust soul
Just wanted to let go.
She was a beautiful red long stem rose,
But she couldn't see past her mold.
It was like the shine sparkling off of her body was too bright.
She was blinded.
Pain and love is all she knows.
So defined she couldn't hide it.
Walking in space on a planet of hate.
Daggers threw her way.
Burning sensations as the fire escape.
She was the universe moving so gently and smooth.
When she talked butterflies flew,
With every word spoken of happiness.
The world never knew
When the sun sets she was drowning in her room full of air
Staring in a mirror trying to see what's there.
