Light Of Hope

I will praise the sun,

For it shows me the way;

But I will endure the darkness,

For it shows me the stars!

I will endure the dark,

For it teaches me to find the light,

In the darkest places.

That little ray,

Is like a gold coin in a dumpster!

It's like a treasure chest

At the bottom of the sea.

It's the only diamond,

In a heap of stones.

It's like a ruby,

Covered in ashes.

It's the only spark of fire

In a furnace.

It's like a firefly

In a dark room.

And that light is the only light of hope in me!
