Life's journey

My journey started from when i was a baby,

They'd give me love and affection daily.

It was probably the best time of my journey,

It was the only time which ended rather early.

Then I grew up to become a child,

With a little dose of crazy and a side order of wild.

I started to learn and i started to grow,

I turned into a teenager before I could know.

As a teen life turned upside down,

Every smile changed quickly to a frown.

It was the most complicated stage that came,

I used to hate the person i often became.

After seven teenage years i was a young adult,

Power came with consequences as a result.

I would feel as if I had the whole world at the palm of my hand,

But then within seconds, it'd all just turn to sand.

Soon I became an adult and got married,

Within a few years a young life i too carried.

Now I was a daughter, a wife and a mother,

One thing would always lead to another.

Now i'm old and look back at the life,

All everything i did when I had all the time.

I've come so far and i feel so great,

I always found a way to grow from the hate.
