My heart is pounding so fast,

This moment is short to last,

Someone tries to put me in a cast,

As flashes of memories are vast,

It's just a dream of the past...

Sometimes life gets so sick,

Some need a pat and few a kick,

As time lasts a span of a tick,

And ice-cream is on a fast pick,

Shut up and enjoy the lick....

There is happiness but such unrest,

Every day you are put to a test,

The heart struggles with great gust,

It flutters fearing it's about to rust,

Could life be any just.....?

Is it not true,

That the only constant is you,

Don't you try to change,

No one can fill your place in exchange,

You are who you are,

You got to shine like a new star...
