Empty inside, tears streaming through the eyes

You would think, it were the lies

Relationship doomed? Are friendships sour?

Time to move on? Nope, not the hour!

Let's keep inside, fill the bottle

Let's be adventurous, feel full throttle!

Brittle hearts and incomplete smiles

Relationships these days, don't run miles.

There is nothing called too much stress,

Suicides, depression? That's no free press!

Keep going, keep moving on, that's all they say

Keep running, peddling this cycle, that's the only way!

I studied so hard, it never mattered,

I never reached the level, all expectations shattered!

I see them smile, they tell me they are proud!

But all I hear is of my failure, clear and loud!

Maybe it is all in my head, I may not be the main

For they say in life, the gain is always greater than the pain!!
