Life Is A Challenge!!

This is the story of almost everyone,

Even Gods, when they were born human,

While life seems to be following a comfortable pattern,

You find yourself starting at a daunting situation.

The challenge seems ugly, the future unknown,

Neck deep in trouble, you find yourself standing alone,

Seemingly targeted by misery and misfortune,

Your world suddenly comes crashing down.

The immediate reaction is to feel lost and vitiated,

That makes things all the more complicated,

The fickle mind wavers, asking many questions,

Why me?? What if?? With no sight of any solution.

When you worry, the problem gets magnified,

The result? Depression and sleepless nights,

What comes to the rescue is a warrior attitude,

Come what may, stand ground, keep fortitude.

Whatever the problem, it is not bad as it seems,

Break it into pieces, address each one with your means,

That which looks impossible when seen as a whole,

Appears achievable when there are smaller, simpler goals.

When the mind is calm, the goals are visibly in sight,

The ways to achieve them also become clear and bright,

Gather your courage and start with small, tiny steps,

Never give up the ascent, but do allow yourself some rest.

Whenever in doubt, look back at how far you have come,

With every step in the right direction, confidence is the outcome,

Having travelled so far, you know you are almost there,

Have patience, Believe in yourself and you will surely conquer.

Life throws challenges, go ahead and accept it

With a positive attitude, you will succeed in solving it,

Remember to value the ones who supported you all along,

Keep out the ego and life will become a colourful song.

Finally when you are at peace, having conquered it all,

Relish the moment, for it might not last long,

Don't be surprised to see yourself facing an approaching storm,

That's the next challenge, Life showing you it's true form.
