My country my pride..

I wasn't born when we got freedom

So I couldn't understand sacrifice and martyrdom

I was born in a country of clear blue sky

With green grasslands and mountains so high

I was born in a country where farmers grow grains

Where scientists are born with brilliant brains

I was born in a country with education for all

Where peace prevails in all parts big or small

But 

One day I saw the news of Afghanistan

Captured in the hands of cruel Taliban

It was then I realised the worth of freedom

Now I understood the price of sacrifice and martyrdom

We are free from terror we are free from fear

And that is my country we are so happy here

My country has love for all and that is it's beauty

But for our country we also have a duty

Let's pay our tax on-time and vote to choose the wise

To live so peacefully here is it really a big price??
