Life In An Aquarium

Loved the sight of freedom, splashing with joy!

Amazed by the agility, of multi colored variety!

Though diverse in features, unique in Nature!

It held me back, spectacular and mesmerizing,

Wondered I what could be the reason!

Small to big, plain to spots

Stripes to circles, skinny to chunky

Living in a school, too cute and lovely!

Gazing and peeping, I wish the day extends

And never ends my visit at the Aquarium!

Fishes forgot the mighty Ocean

Lives a life of content in the Aquarium

My day in the Aquarium

Was a stroke of epiphany!

Hit me like a lightning, do we live the same?

Should we be content, with life’s luxury?

Or should we recall, the mighty Ocean of mystery?

To where we belong and back we go

Or live our hearts content in this world!

Weighed down by the thought I gazed again!

Live the moment the fishes said gaily

Live your life to the fullest score!

Every moment you face is joy or strife

Let love be the way of life

Seek neither less nor more!
