FLY …I hear an inner voice,

Low but firm in whispers,

Yonder nay…but from within,

FLY it says with intense…It makes me wonder, Why? Where? How?

In utter confusion, I just tried to set it away,

Running my daily chores as mundane as it could be,

Struggling my way through the routine humdrum,

To my surprise, I hear it again, more promising!

Lost in my thoughts, I gaze into myself,

Only to realize I have lost my true self,

Vexed and tired for no reason,

Every day and in every season!

Yonder Yesterdays were much fun,

On and on it rolled like a ball and bounced back with life from the sun,

Under the bridges or over the hills, like

Rivers it flowed smoothly without dislike!

Soon the tides changed over,

Ebbed with ego and fire,

Lest the world around me sways now,

Frustration and regret drive over with a vow!

Time flies dear, stop musing…

It’s high time to FLY…

My heart throbs with ecstasy…

Every nerve of mine revives…I’m all set to FLY

FLY dear, FLY far and near…
