Life’s reflection.


The red cherry

On a bright morning

Bending, dipping

Swerving, swinging

Cutting, seaming

Beating the poor soul all ends up.

Down, not out.


Struggling, still surviving

Suddenly the purple patch

Balls streaking to the boundary

Fielders running amok

Handshakes all round

A standing ovation

The milestone reached.


A good job done

Downs and ups

Ups and downs

Patience

perseverance, plight

Life’s reflection? Right?
