Let’s Move On

Again after a long time, I got a chance to hug on my favorite couch. It always throws me in a deep well of thoughts, I can't come out of it. I am trying hard but I am strangled, the more I try tighter the strangles get. Get me out of here, please. 

 

In the journey to success, I left many people behind. Call me selfish, I don't mind. I would still continue on the path I chose. Some I really wanted to hold on but they could not come with me, had a different journey fate decided for them.

Still, I question why did you abandon me? What was my mistake? I grew for you but you are still not happy? You taught me to climb but when I do it now why don't you join me? You had a choice, you made a choice. I was treated like one of the options that you rejected. 

I am heartbroken, it is left with scars. I have no one to talk to, coz I would not let you down because you walked over me. I want to finish it off, the pain is unbearable. I smile but my heart weeps. I want to shout, cry out loud. I want my answers but my calls are uninvited. 

Time to decide, stick-on, or move on.

I decide to leave you behind. Go. Live your life, but do not hesitate to reach out if you ever need me. I pray you never need to.

I have to choose now. I choose to go ahead on the journey. I choose to be successful. I choose to shop. I choose to party. I choose the ones who value me. I choose to live. I choose to be happy. 

My brain is jammed with plans but my heart was left empty. I choose to give time. I choose to fill it with love from genuine lovers. 

I wish myself the best of everything. Goodbye bad memories and welcome a new ME.
